It's 6am you roll out of bed, wash up, drink a cup of coffee, slip into your gym clothes and you're out the door, ready for a kick ass workout. While this is a great way to start your day, you are neglecting one crucial component….. Breakfast!

In honor of National Women's Health Week

Women, being the care-takers that we are, are more often than not putting ourselves in the back seat and letting others we care about ride in the driver's seat. While this is a good quality to have, many women are allowing their own needs to get lost, trampled on and just plain forgotten. In honor of National Women's Health Week, now is the perfect time for women to take recognition and concern for their health needs.

Beef and asparagus stew

A spin off a recipe I found in "Eat Right For Your Type." Instead of using lamb here we used beef and we added a few spices to give it some flare. In case you were wondering if that book title sounds familiar to you, yes it's very likely you've heard of it before because it has a lot of people talking. This particular recipe was inspired by a recipe recommended for the Blood Type B diet. For those of you asking, what is that? Check back soon, I'll be reporting on my findings in a later post. If you're thinking oh great another diet fade, before you judge, pick up this book and immerse yourself in it- It may just blow your mind, just sayin'

Do you have Abs of steel? If all you know is how to master the sit-up that isn't saying too much. Remember, half the battle in having wash board abs (no pun intended) is watching what you eat. The other half, is doing a ab workout that is varied enough to challenge you every time. If you can do 100 sit-ups without stopping it's probably time to try something new. And we have just the workout for you!
